Can't see GTech 4TB G Drive with Thunderbolt - Windows 10

Can’t see my new G Drive w Thunderbolt listed in (My PC) when I look at all of the other GTECH drives ( I have eight 4TB and three 10TB) I’m operating with Windows 10. Drive formatted properly and appears in Disk Management AND the right corner drive pull up menu (if I were to eject the drive) However, I still cannot see the drive. I’m using the USB 3.0 output. Anyone have a solution to this issue?

Make sure that if it is formatted for Windows already that it has a drive letter. Sometimes that step is skipped by the system. In Disk Management if it shows up there just right click on it and click add/change drive letter and if it should come up.

Rydia,
You are absolutely right! What a lifesaver. I just deleted the volume and when creating a New Simple Volume I made sure I assigned a letter. Worked like a charm. Now I know you MUST assign a letter to the drive (even if you are out of letters) Thank you for your reply!
