This is a known bug in the new firmware. So far as I know, there is no work around. The only thing you can do is rollback the firmware. Here is a link to do that for the WDTVLive:

If so, there’s GOT to be something else going on. Outside of a configuration item getting stuck (which WILL clear after a Reset to Factory Defaults and whatnot) I don’t see any possible way that a roll forward followed by a rollback would NOT correct the problem.
I upgraded as well to 1.03 and it finds the drives adn the computer but I can’t go on with out a user name and password. I never had one before.
So I went back to 1.02 version and I still can’t log on to my network. It keeps asking me for a user name and password. Does anyone have a reliable fix for this? This make my WD useless with out it.
