I am having some issue creating other user account for my new mycloud home duo. My own account was set up without any issue, and I can access it from all of my devices. But when I tried to give my wife access, it seems all of the invitation emails were not sent out for whatever reason. I’ve tried to send invitations from my computer, iphone and ipad, and none worked.
Have you checked the spam or junk folders? Sometimes these type of emails get caught up in spam filters. I would also try sending an invite to a different email address and see of the invite is received.
Yes, I’ve checked all of my spam folders and used multiple different email addresses from several different providers and still no luck. Never received one invitation email. That’s very frustrating.
I just sent an invite to my alternate gmail account and got the email right away. you may want to contact wd support directly and submit logs to see what may be going on in your environment.
Usually only spammer would revive a thread that is 7 years old. The My Cloud Home series has had more than 68 firmware updates since that time and there is little possibility that it is the same problem and that the original thread starter is still around.
Please file another support ticket and or refer to the Knowledge Base.
Check your spam or social media folder for invitation email if that is the problem.
