Cant access user folders

We just got a MyCloud to use with our 7 computers (all are using windows 8/10). I setup a cloud folder, and a 2nd folder for general storage. I added 4 users in addition to the admin. I can access every folder except the 4 user folders. When I try to access those, I get the MSN credentials screen (which I have no idea what those credentials are, or why I need them for my own local network) and any user/pass that I use gives me:

‘you might not have permission to use this network resource. Multiple connections to a server or shared resource by the same user, using more than one user name, are not allowed.’

I cant even decipher that message.

I would prefer to not even have passwords. I just need to be able to access all of those folders from all 7 computers.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nevermind, I fixed it

I just went into the shares and made those 4 public. Now it works like a charm.

It’s the Windows network drive access problem.

See this thread for details, discussion & solution.

Making all Shares Public is not a good solution.
