I can’t seem to access the Backup or Retrieve tabs in WD Smartware after MyBookLive was shut down for several days.
I have clicked on each of the HDD’s listed and waited for the message ‘categorizing your files…’ to finish, but the Backup and Retrieve tabs remain greyed out.
MyBookLive is switched on now, and can be accessed through both the dashboard and Windows Explorer. But I wait, and I wait, and I wait for the Backup and Retrieve tabs to become active, but nothing happens.
This software is in great need of updating- there is not enough feedback to operators what is happening.
