Cannot see NAS or shared drives in Windows 7

This is a strange one.

I can see the EX4 in Internet Explorer but not in Network (from the Win 7 Start Button), nor can I see the shared files in file explorer
I can see my QNAP NAS so it’s not an issue with Network Discovery on the PC
The EX4 is in the same Windows Workgroup as my PC
When I connect the EX4 to another other network I can see the NAS and network files OK
Network is set up DHCP - I did try setting the EX4 up with a static IP
I have obviously tried rebooting the NAS, the PC and the router

Anyone any ideas?

Solved…

I knew I just needed to reach out to this user group and I would discover the problem…

I connected another Windows PC to the network and it can see the EX4 and it’s shared files, problem is with my PC.
