I’ve tried this on MacOS 10.7 and 10.8 and 10.9 with no success. Even tried PC’s with WinXP, 7, and 8.1
I cannot get the universal firmware updater to update the My Book Studio II that I’ve been using for years.
It gets as far as downloading the firmware from WD and then says its starting to upgrade the firmware, then says it cannot find the drive and try re-attaching the usb cable.
I want to go ahead and upgrade to a pair of 3TB drives I just got on sale from newegg.
I am running with firmware 1007 and would like to get to the latest.
Has anyone been able to do this?
