Hi can anyone help since the update I can no longer access my dashboard and have tried the 4 sec reset but nothing happens and also with the 40 everything worked great unti the update.
What firmware were you upgrading from?
Have you checked the IP address for the My Cloud and used that to access it? A reset can change the IP address if one previously used the Dashboard to configure a static IP address for the My Cloud.
Thank you I have been a bit thick and now can finally access the dashboard. However one more question whenvever I try and access my cloud via Ipad or Iphone I get a message device is off line, I dont quite understand why?
First step is to set up the My Cloud with a static IP address. Generally it is recommended one assign a static IP through the network router or gateway’s administration page and if that isn’t possible then set it through the My Cloud Dashboard > Settings > Network page. Second, ensure Remote Access is enabled through the My Cloud Dashboard > Settings > General page. Once remote access is enabled it should (may take a few minutes) indicate its connection status.
