Can I move files from MBL to MyCloudMiror Gen2 via FTP?

Hi, I was wondering if it is at possible to move the contents from MBL unit to a My Cloud Miror Gen2 unit, using FTP?
I can use FTP for transferring from my physical drives, but not my network drives.
I use FTP as it is a bit faster (x2) than dragging and dropping.
I did at one point manage to upload very quickly from something in one of my network drive’s dashboard, and I was so excited by the speed of transfer, that I didn’t pay any attention as to where, and what I was using to uploading. Perhaps somebody knows.
I’d appreciate any help in this.
Thanks in advance,
Ronnie

It can be done, but creating an FTP tunel between units would require SSH knowledge in order to link the two.

Thanks for your speedy reply, I think that this solution is beyond my capabilities. Is there anything in the set up info I gave indicate the slow speeds for copying/moving files/folders from HDD to MBL/MY Cloud Mirror?

I didn’t notice anything unusual, so there must be something deeper going on. It would be best to provide WD Support with the logs of your units for analysis; creating a support ticket for a follow-up.

You can reach them over the phone or via E-mail.
