Just unboxed and am trying to auto backup my lgg2 camera photos and videos. Right now only the photos are backing up. None of the videos. I searched the faq. Can anyone provide a pointer to assist on this issue? Thank you.

Are you using the WD My Cloud application to upload your Videos and Pictures? Have you tried using the WD Photos?
I’m having the same problem with my Samsung phone. I’ve had the WD My Cloud installed for about a month now. I went looking for the backed up video’s taken from my phone, but no videos have transferred; only photos. I’m using the WD My Cloud app. Should I not be using this app? Will the WD photo’s app do it? What about IPAD transfers? Same WD Photo’s app?
If only photos are being backed up and not videos, check to see where the phone (or tabet) is saving the video in its internal memory. Its possible the app(s) will only backup the video if its in the same directory as the photos. On my Android phone (Motorola Droid Mini) both the videos and photos are stored in the same folder on the phone, and both are backed up by the WD My Cloud Photo app to the WD My Cloud.
Also when using the WD My Cloud Photo app, ensure you don’t have “photos only” checked under Settings.
What about iOS ? İ can backup video or photo on mu Cloud with Android. But i cannot do it My Apple iphone
