Hi,
The issue I currently have is I can’t seem to back up the Mycloud Mirror 4TB to a remote NAS system on the same (home) network. The configuration is PC (windows10), Mycloud Mirror (with 3TB USB attached), Mycloud 3TB and Router all connected via a single gigabit unmanaged switch.
I’ve have successfully backup up to USB, but not to another NAS. Neither the NAS nor the Mycloud options seem to work.
The NAS option seems to ne looking for a SSHD username, but the Mycloud 3TB device I have, when enabling SSH, provides a default user name of ROOT and password welc0me. I can’t seem to find a way to add a user name of SSHD to the Mycloud 3TB drive. When running the backup creation wizard, it states an SSH access failure occurred and failed an RSYNC test. Used IP address of 192.168.0.111, admin password, sshd and SSH password. Always fails when trying to determine the destination folder.
If I use the Mycloud web account, no paths / devices show up that I can backup to, although when I log into the account, via internet explorer, I can see both the Mirror and the Mycloud 3TB device.
I can see all drives and paths using windows explorer, however, just can’t seem to get the two devices to tie up together to run the backup over Ethernet.
Both devices updated to the latest software, as of today 17th April 2016.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Cheers
