Using Android ES File Explorer I am not prompted to sypply any passwords and all folders are open for anyone to see.
My firmware info is:
Current Version WDMyCloud v04.01.00-408 : Core F/W
Last Update Tuesday, October 28, 2014 5:19:26 AM
Does anyone have any solution?

I tested this last night and it works as it should for me. I am on the latest mycloud FW and tested both with a very old ES then the current version
Can you provid more details on this? Screen shots of 2 of the shares configuration and the 2 usernames you are using would be a good start
have you tried the same test from a WIndows PC with file explorer? they both use SMB connection and should behave the same
