Hi there. I just purchased a WD MyCloud and have 2 questions/issues:

  1. When uploading images using the Android app, why does it not give me an option to select all? I can only seem to select all for certain dates. I’d like to be able to select every single photo easily. Is it possible?

  2. When using auto-sync/backup on my android phone, it just seems to dump all of my images/videos into a single folder on mycloud and doesn’t upload the images in the album’s/folders they were in on the phone. Why is this? Would it not make sense for it to upload and sync everything in their respective folders/album’s?

  1. To me, a “Select all” text appear on the right of each available folder. Don’t know why it doesn’t appear to you.

  2. No idea why it works that way but if it is that way, I agree with you, it should respect original folders/album’s.

  1. It does have select all but only for that folder/date. I want to be able to select every image in that album, etc

  2. Yes, unfortunately when I backed up my phone it just dumped every single image in the one folder and didn’t separate by album or anything like that.
