Acronis TrueImage - (Not responding)

Used backup for years and like previous user looked for update when I purchased a new MyBook drive. Found that it was no longer to be supported. Downloaded and installed the acronis software. After installation, when trying to use software, it hangs (Not Responding). Tried several times and included new installations. Is there a minimum spec of PC? Am I doing something wrong or is the software just not good?

Thanks for this. It makes sense. I guess they would like us to buy an upgrade but since it doesnt work I wont take the risk!!
