Acronis True Image cannot see My Cloud on Windows

Today I bought a My Cloud Home 4TB, intending to use Acronis True Image 2016 for backing up my Windows 10 laptop, just as I used to do on my plain old WD USB external drive. When I try to select a backup target in True Image, the Z drive mapped by My Cloud does not show up, even though it can be seen in Windows Explorer and I can add files to it there. When I check the Z drive properties, I see the file system to be “KDDFS” (which I cannot even find on Google). Is there a way to make this work? Thanks for any ideas.

Backup software such as Acronis and others must backup to the Public Share in Windows Networking.
