I had a network router/switch issue and the IP address for MyCoud has changed so I cannot access the Dashboard. When I try the desktop app, the drive does not appear as available. I try to access it manually and it has my username but will not take my password. Since I cannot access my dashboard, is there another way to reset user passwords?
do a system only restore, see manual for details but basic step is unplug hold reset button plug in power, continue to hold for 40 seconds.
how did you try to access it maually? if you can get to the UI the password would not have changed do to the router issue.
you should be able to go into your router admin page and see what DHCP addresses it has assigned and identify the mycloud
When you get back in I suggest you set a static IP address outside of the DHCP pool on the router
If you know the new IP address and have the Dashboard shortcut on your computer then do a right click on it, choose properties and enter the new URL. See image below. Be sure to click Apply and OK. After doing this you should be able to click on the shortcut to open up the Dashboard.
