You are in the wrong forum. The 9-digit code is a MyCloud Home thing.

if you do not have the 9 digit code on the serial label or the quick install guide you probably have the older my cloud product and are using the setup page for the new my cloud home. If you have the older my cloud you will need to use the setup page for the older my cloud products. see the post below.
