Seen a few posts asking the question if this is possible but always without hacks.

I heard the same thing from support, it is not possible out of the box but I could modify the drive and to possibly seek help here.

Not afraid of replacing the firmware.  Is this possible?  I just need to access the data over http from a third party device. As of right now it’s a clean device with no data so I’m open for any suggestions on this.

If you don’t want to use Mionet, you can try using FTP. See if the following helps.

Unfortunately I tried using FTP already. Was able to get that to work without a problem. Unfortunately not with this application.

I’m attempting to access the shares themselves over http.
