Hi all,
I began receiving bad sectors on my HDD a few months ago luckily this was a gradual failure so I was able to backup all my stuff, however items begin to be corrupt upon downloading and installed files were not working correctly etc, then I received messages saying the drive was unstable
upon doing chkdisk’s it appears that the drive has bad sectors, so I filed an RMA throught WD
I’ve got a pre-mailer thing but it states that its not a postage label, do I have to pay to post this back myself?
I’ve never RMA’d anything before so am a little unsure on how this all works.
any advice will be much appreciated.
