Has anyone else had a problem navigating dvd menus. on Mine the DVD menu comes up but nothing comes up to navigate the menus anymore so I can’t select anything like play or setup or anything.
What is the current folder structure containing the files you would like to play with DVD navigation features, and what playback method do you use?
Hi!
I have the same problem: If I mark a Video_ts folder and press “play” the movie every time plays fine but without DVD menu, DVD chapters, and working resume point.
But if I go into the Video_ts folder and select the “video_ts.vob” file (press play oder ok) I often get a black screen. Then if I press the back or home button the box often reboot. Sometimes the menu works and the movie plays with working capters.
DVD Folder structure? It seems another DVD Backup (not into an iso image) start with a “vts_01_0.vob” file (33,27MB). It has no Video_ts.vob. The same problem.
With DVD backups into an iso file I have similar problems. But it seems the problems only occurs if I play a DVD backup (not into an Iso image) before.
Using a WD TV Live WDBHG70000NBK I get the same thing. can you change the playback method? How can it play the folder as 1 smooth DVD file, versus 1 vob file, pause, the next vob file…
If you’ve got all files (including IFOs!) inside a VIDEO_TS-folder, it should work. All my DVD rips are ISO and they play fine, even with menu.
Figured it out. Works ok if everything is on USB connected drive. Has problems if DVD folders located on NAS drive(Mycloud)
