XML Data

Heres my dilema hopefully someone knows how to correct this. I like the fact that when I use the hub to get content info I am able to search Actors. However I alphabetize my whole movie collection and when I use hub to get content it take the movies that start with THE to the T’s When I use thumbgen to create the XML it does not do this as I have the iso file with THE at the rear of the title. With thumbgen created XML all I get is an title search no actor or genre search I have tried to change the hub generated title within the XML data to no success it still puts THE in the T’s even when I go into XML and change title. The only thing I can figure is that it is drawing the info from the movie data base. If there is a solution does anyone either know how to do the XML and still get actor search plus have my movies that start with THE wherever they go in alphabetical order?

 any help is apreciated

One of the top ideas is about this issue to drop the “THE”… Hopefully, in the next update they will fix that.

Also, there is an “Idea” for allowing user add xml data.

… and I prefer the LATTER over the FORMER because then the user can specify exactly the title they want.

So I take it there is no solution right now other than a hopeful update As Tony I would prefer the ladder as I already have thumbgen XMLs and I also hear when you clear a library or things happen you lose the info fetched from the hub. Gosh if they fixed that and made it where you could search your own XMLs then I think I could live without the playlist starting over around 60ish tittles

Nope, right now there’s no solution, just like that ant we have “high hopes”.:smileyvery-happy:
