Will the EX4100 function with only 2 drives?

I am looking to upgrade from a MY Book Live Duo to the EX4100. I would like to start with two 6TB Red Pro HDDs. Will the EX4100 support only 2 HDDs instead of 4? I will add the other 2 when more storage is needed.

Yes, EX4100 will accept less than four drives and works fine with even one drive only.

BTW: WD Red Pro is a bit over the top, WD Red is also fine (and equipped in the fully populated models).
