I have own the ex 4 for less then a year. It still doesn’t work right, too slow, locks up etc. Western Digitial should let us EX4 owners trade in for a Ex4100! Look at the EX4 forums, one problem after the other, and 90% have not been resolved.

Pulled the drives out of my EX4 and built a FreeNAS server and use the EX4 as target practice LOL!!
My DL units SMOKE the EX4 by far!
