WDTV / Windows 10 Compatibility Problem

I use 2 external hard drives to play video files on my WDTV device that were copied from my desktop computer running Windows 7. Since upgrading to Windows 10 and copying video files to those same hard drives the WDTV can no longer detect them. Has anyone else had this problem? What I can do about it?
