Hi all, my WDTV Live suddenly stopped connecting to my home network. The unit freezes on the opening screen and nothing else happens. The hard drive hooked up to it fires up and the signal is going through to the tv. I have tried the reset button on the bottom of the unit. Does anyone have any suggestions?

where is your media that you wish to play ?
is it on a “Network Share” or “Local USB Storage” ???
sort out one issue at a time
remove your hdd and try a factory reset via the ui …
Setup > System > Device Reset > Reset All Settings Back to Factory Default
then work through it
Thanks for the reply, Joey. I’m not sure what you mean by this part of your message. I’m a noobie at these forums…please be patient. I have been using the unit to stream Netflix via the wireless network in the house… Everything has been hooked up the same way for months now, with no problems. Where do I find the factory reset instructions?

I disconnected the HDD, turned it off at the switch for awhile. It just started up fine . NOW I can get into the menu and look around. Thanks.
you said nothing about “Netflix” in your original postÂ
also, you are in the wrong forum … this forum is for the latest WDTV (2014) which does not even have Netflix
I will notify a moderator to move your post to correct forum (which i’m guessing is the WDTV Live Streaming Forum )
