As the subject states I have a WDMy cloud EX2 and I use it with a Mac. I have the WD Quick View Software installed and when I click on the router to get information, it says “Drive SMART status; Bad.”
I tried to reinstall quickview, and wd smartware, without success.

i had the same issue. reinstalling will not help. you might want to reachout directly to WD.
I had my hard drive replaced because of that. took them a while - but they did it.
