WDBAPZ0010BNC serial not find

I am trying to return a defective WD_BLACK SN850 NVMe 1TB hard drive purchased from Best Buy Canada on 02/17/2022 and it does not recognize the serial number as listed on the label.

I can provide a photo with the tag on request.
