WD TV Live not recognizing my Intenso portable hard drive (1TB 2,5" USB 3.0) -

Disk Manager ->No USB storage currently connected to the WD TV. (Power indicator on HDD is on)

What exactly happened?

USB hard drive is not recognized

What you were doing?

Connecting USB hd

What hardware and media were you using?

Intenso portable hard drive (1TB 2,5" USB 3.0)

Does it happen every time?

yes

Does it happen with previous firmware?

2.01.86 is my first experience with WD

Does power cycling the unit solve it?

No

Does resetting to factory defaults solve it?

No

Have you tried this on other devices?

Intenso HDD working properly with PCs - Win XP/Win7/Win8

Have no other Media Players

Please be aware than some 3rd party Portable disk drives may need more power than the one provided by your WD TV Live Streaming Media Player, or may use dedicated drivers. For this reason, desktop disk drives with power adapters are recommended.
