WD Sync Issue

The WD Sync folder that is created when I install WD Sync on my Mac works just fine, in only one direction. Let me explain…

If I copy or place a file in the local MyCloud folder on my Mac it auto syncs to the WD Sync folder on the NAS. But if I save a document or photo in an email on my iPhone and save it to the WD Sync folder on the NAS it never syncs back to my local MyCloud folder on my Mac.

So how would this be a sync? Only works in one direction… really WD?

EDIT: The only way I got it to work two-way was

  1. Quit WD Sync on the Mac
  2. Reboot via UI the MyCloud
  3. Restart WD Sync on Mac
