I have an EX2 Ultra at home and would like to sync files/folders to and from work remotely using WD Sync. WD Sync connects perfectly locally but I have problem doing it remotely though.
I have set everything up (I know of) either on the Dashboard or router side according to instructions I could find – Cloud Access, port forwarding on router. WD Sync sets to enable SSL.
When I launch WD Sync on a Mac, it says no drive detected (nothing locally, of course) and I signed in to MyCloud dot com with no issues. My drive appears correctly and I selected the drive but when I click “Next” to connect, the wheel just keeps spinning until the App eventually crash out.
Here are the logs I could find related to WD App Manager:
