Wd red genuine or not?

I recently purchased a 6tb and it looks very different from my old one, I’m questioning if I got scammed by the seller. I did however manage to register it on wd warranty using the SN, quite strange!!

Attached are images of both the old and new drives, The old one has the big qr code and perhaps it’s not showing in the image the shade of red is a little bit darker than the new one. Thanks in advance!

yes its normal now… i dont have red but i bought 4x wd60ezrz drives and they are alike ( but blue)

it doesnt have the QR code and its the outside aspect
