WD PLAY - Iplayer stopped working

I purchased a WD PLAY network media player last year and recently the Iplayer App has stopped working and a message appears saying “this device is not supported”.

This was a gift for my parents and the only app they regularly use is Iplayer so the device is now almost useless to them, can someone explain why Iplayer is no longer available on the device? 

Maybe you should try contacting WD’s Technical Support about this. You can do so either by phone or email.
