My WD passport suddenly isnt recognized by my laptop and pc (windows 8). Plug in, click click sounds but nothing on the screen. Can someone help please? Thanks.

It is possible the USB cable is not working properly. Try replacing the cable and if possible try on another computer as a troubleshooting step.
