Computer will Not Recognize Passport

Hello,

I have had my passport for about three years without problems. Today when I plugged it into my computer, HP-windows 8, the computer recognizes that I have plugged something in and knows it to be the passport, but when I go to look at files There is not an option for my passport. I tried this with an additional computer and still the same problem. I really need these files. Any advice? Thank you.

Try a different USB cable to see if this helps you out with this issue. Also check on disk management see if the drive comes up.
