hi
i just bougt a 3tb WD my cloud.
i have the cloud attached to my router (TC7200.U, standart router from cablecom switzerland) and im connected over wifi with my macbook.
but im totally diappointed in my transfer speeds from my laptop to the cloud and vise versa!
i just got 5-8 Megabyte /sec!! this over finder as well as over filezilla (port forwarding on 20, 21, 80, 443, 8080, 8443)
how can it be, that most of people reach harddiskdrive speeds and i get this **bleep**??
i checked also the router, its suposed to be gigLan as well, but im not quite sure if this is true.
where is my setup fault??
what can i do to accelerate this [Deleted - Trancer]?
thanks

You’re getting around the same speed I am. See image below. I have WiFi 802.11n on both of my computers.
Have you tried a direct connection from your computer to the router?

what color is the solid LED by the ethernet cable?
if it is green it is a Gb connection
if it is yellow it is a 100Mb connection. In a recent post somone had a router the had both a 100Mb and Gb version with the same model #
More then likely it is the wireless speed
