WD MyCloud Ex2 Ultra cannot be found by WD Access App

My new My Cloud EX2 Ultra can be found with the WD Sync App just fine, but never comes up when trying to setup the WD Access App with it.

My computer is on the same network as the My Cloud, I can also access it via my Mac finder as it is found on my network.

Additional Info:
Firmware version: 2.30.165
WD Sync App version: 2.0.1.72
WD Access App version: 1.0.4.219
Running MacOS Sierra, i.e. 10.12.5

This is especially puzzling because I previously had a My Cloud EX2 (not an Ultra) that was able to be seen by the WD Access App, but my new Ultra won’t. :-/ Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Any time I try to go through the WD Access Setup again, it only gives me the option to Uninstall the app, and I have to uninstall/reinstall only to still have my EX2 Ultra not found again.

You may want to check in and search through the dedicated EX2 subforum and the dedicated WD software subforum to see if there has been past discussion on your issue. For example here is one past discussion:

As always one troubleshooting step is to uninstall the software, then download the latest version and reinstall the software.
