Wd MyCloud 2-d gen Single Bay HDD replacement

Good day.
I have WD MyCloud Gen 2 (-10) Single Bay device with OS5.
Lately I found SMART errors while checking HDD in admin console. After that I decided to replace HDD. I bought same 3Tb WD Red HDD.
Then I tried to “clone” image from old HDD by following guide in this topic:

I’ve tried both 3Tb and 2 Tb images, but got same result: device start with red light blinking…
Factory restore didn’t help.

Tried to look for solution from for_exe, but he deleted all his public archives…

Please somebody advice is there any chance to change HDD in my situation or I have to look for a new NAS (no WD anymore)?
Any advice may help.

Sometimes a 40 second reset may fix the blinking red front LED post unbrick.
