WD my passport asks for password!

Hi everyone I had bought this WD my passport essential about 4 months ago and suddenly last week the WD smartware asks for unlock password. I am 100% sure that i haven’t set up any password or unlock code. I have about 800 gigs of valueable documents and pictures. Here is the screenshot of what it looks like. I am stunned that i cannot access my hard drive. I bought this in the USA, and now i am in Nepal. There is no customer support division of WD here i my country. Can anyone help??

There is no a master reset. About the only thing to try is a different account like the guest account or another computer. If that doesn’t work you’re ont of luck the drive is hardware encrypted. Hooking it up as an internal or in another enclosure won’t help.
