Wd My home vanishes off my home network and computer

I have an iMac and have the desktop my cloud setup, it just disconnects when it wants to and transfers are slow

are there any checks that I can run?

the my cloud is attached by a fast Ethernet cable

Same on Windows 10. Dog slow transfers and then the drive appears offline. WD Discovery version 4.1.270.
