WD My Cloud

Hello, I have a My Cloud 2T in which the light continues to blink red. From Forums that I’ve read it seems to be that the drive has failed. However, given ignorance and lack of knowledge from an IT perspective I have no clue what the issue is or how to determine the problem. Can anyone provide me some direction, to include how to retrieve my data? Your response is sincerely appreciated.
