Does anyone know where to get this?  When I click on the link in the message, it takes me to the Choose a software page and there is no mention of this new software.

I think many of people received an email with this advice:

I have a My Cloud drive.

I’m also registered MyCloud user and received an email as above.

Is it a new OS system instead of  1.0.6.13?

Or it is a MyCloud Desktop v.1.0.6.13 but someone makes fail in sending a message?

Hello all,

To my understanding, the so called WD My Cloud OS 1.5 was actually a combination of both the applications update on the desktop or mobile devices and the firmware update on your WD device.

The resolution of the BASH/Shellshock vulnerability from the latest firmware update best describe this, WD just confused the customers on that numbering or versioning here.
