WD my cloud EX2 Ultra USB encrypted

Hi all,
I bought the WD my cloud EX2 Ultra and now I would like to know if there’s a way to mount as USB drive an encrypted volume (e.g.: LUKS) or the only way to make a copy of the internal drive is to use an USB drive without encryption?

Thanks for the help

You should either move your post, or make a new one, in the correct subforum for your device where users more familiar with that device may be able to assist.

It would help if you posted the USB hard drive brand.

If you haven’t done so already, use the forum search feature, magnifying glass icon top right, to find past discussions about using encrypted drives with the My Cloud units. For example:

One may have to remove the drive encryption if the My Cloud Dashboard cannot access and decrypt the USB hard drive.

Thanks thread moved, during posting was not so clear where put it. I tried already to search but I didn’t found anything about USB drive encryption…
Drive is a WDC WD50 00BPKT-00PK4T0 that I have already encrypted with LUKS but I can change if EX2 Ultra isn’t compatible…
