Security/Encryption for My Cloud EX2 Ultra

Been using My Cloud EX2 Ultra for a week or two now,and it occurred to me that I have sensitive documents on it that I wouldn’t want to be stolen. How’s the security on these things (since it is hooked to the internet)? Is there anything built-in? Also, is there a way to encrypt the data? Any recommendations?

The WD My Cloud EX2 Ultra features volume encryption. It is set when creating a RAID volume. For additional information please refer to page 58 (63) of the unit’s User Manual.
