Does My Cloud Ex2 Ultra encrypt all data in transit (via SSL)?

Hi,

If I transfer data to/from the My Cloud Ex2 Ultra NAS over the Internet (e.g., with my smartphone over cellular), can I be sure that my data is encrypted and can not be stolen with man-in-the-middle attacks (or any similar)?

Well,

The WD My Cloud EX2 Ultra features volume encryption. It is set when creating a RAID volume.

Sorry, but I am talking about SSL encryption and not the hardware.
