@jchen i too am experiencing this problem, I believe it started after the latest upgrade 1.07.02 on or around 07/02/2017 Problem: All the dates in My Passport Wireless are set to 01/01/2014. SD Card Imports are also imported to same date 01/01/2014. All new folders created are also dated same (via app). Folders created on PC at normal USB connection are dated fine. The MPW default time starts at 1/1/2014 I think. Then it requires a time sync to get the actual time. Here is a KB article for MPWP which is the same for MPW: My Passport Wireless Pro & SSD: Import Time Differences

Thank you very much @jchen . I was trying to connect WD via http:// 192.168.0.1 but it was showing unreachable. Then http://MyPassport was also not working. What worked was that http:// i.e. http:// mywd as my WD’s name is mywd. Thanks again, solved. spaces in above URLs are intentional, as I am not allowed to put 2+ URLs in post
