Wd live tv streaming problems

hi there, my wd tv live hd player seems to be having trouble playing files. when i  start playing a download file it will play fine for 30secs and then it will go slow with no audio almost like its going in slow motion. it is wired into the router and i cant seem to figure out the issue. the wd live is updated to latest firmware but still the issue continues. please let me know if you need more info as i am a newbie to posting.

btw it has played files like this before the whole way thru and we watched a movie the other night with no problems but it seems to be tv shows that have the problem and i played  the above one tonight for 14mins before it went in to slow motion.

the stream info seems to be OK. Execpt the fact that it is inside a FLV container! o0

Try to remux the video to mp4/mkv container. this should be more compatible. Say if you need help to do so.

btw.

“…it is wired into the router”

 cable or wifi?

hi there i will give it a try. it is connected by cable… sorry lol…

i forgot to add that it plays youtube videos just fine without any stoppage so could it be a problaem with my router stopping incoming streaming from my hard drives?? just a thought…

hi guys, ok i have converted as per instruction but it is still stopping. if i put the unconverted files onto usb and play it thru the wd live it works fine doesnt stop at all. so now im not sure what could be causing the problem. please help with any suggestions.
