I have a problem with external drive WD Elements.I have connected to an olde PC,and hi is not recognized my drive.But general problem is,that after this no pc recognized this drive.Not on USB 2.0,onli my new pc recognized on 3.0 USB front panel.I don`t know what is hapen,when i connected to usb 2.0 hi write to me that the last usb device malfunctioned and does not work properli,thatway has windows stop.Please help,is my drive broken ?I tray with new drives,but no efect.What can i do?BR
Hi there and welcome to the WD community.
Try a different USB cable, or perhaps a different USB port on the same computer to see if the drive does come up.

I tray all this meny time,and i don`t have such a cable.It work onli on usb3,but also not okay,i must reconnected,and then work.I tray also on other pc-s,all usb port,but the same story.I sent better the drive to a service center.
