My external drive is just over 6 years old it has not been damaged or dropped i have tried a new power lead but it still spins then clicks repeatedly. Does anyone know a good reaonably proced data recovery specialist as this is the last option and I am loathed to buy a new one or two as a back upo until i can recover my data as I understand it s becoming a common problem with WD external drives after about 5 years
