I have tried to plug my hard drive into the USB port of my Samsung TV and when I press “media.p” on my remote it states “there is no device connected” the led power light on the drive is on, any suggestions on what is going wrong?

I just bought it Today. The Wd Harddrive has to be formated to exfat, then it just works perfectly fine for my 2019 Samsung crystal Uhd 43 Inch Tv.
