WD Elements 1 TB Not working

i’m suddenly having problems with my external drive. I’ve tried everything! Connecting it to every usb ports, in different devices, with differents usb cables, and there’s no response at all. It makes some noises every time a i connect it.

Is there anyway that i can solve it or at least recover all the data i had in it?

Hey AndresAjo,

Is the drive detected or not detected at all when you connect it? if is detected at least you could try software Data Recovery, if not hardware Data Recovery with a company since from what i know no media / storage manufacturer provides Data Recovery Services.

I am sure that WD will also replace it for you under warranty so why don’t you contact with WD first?
